Online Newsletter: August 2008!

Welcome to the new Online Newsletter for the Lansing Area Church of Christ. This Newsletter like the print copy will be updated once a month and all new updates on the website will be listed below so that you can stay up-to-date on events, service locations, and much more.

Sermon Series
We've started our new Sermon Series entitled "You Already Are". The lessons will be taught from the beginning of July to the end of August and will focus on God's character and our relationship with Him and each other as citizens in the Kingdom.

Prayer Passport
Don't forgit to get radical and meet God in the places listed in our Prayer Passport as we keep our brothers and sisters in India in our prayers. We'll be holding a Special Contribution for them on August 24th.

Special Events
We'll be having "Picnic and Play" after church on August 10th and August 24th at Patriarch Park in East Lansing. Bring your own lunch, beverages, and appropriate clothing as we have fun and fellowship together playing soccer, baseball, and more!

Special Contribution
August 24th will be our collection day for special contribution. Our goal is $5000. Proceeds go to our church brothers and sisters in India, lets plan to give sacrificially this August.


Lastly, please continue to pray for a strong and fruitful summer and that God will help our church grow and our faith to mature. And also for God turn our experiences from Family Camp to solid convictions back in our daily routines.
